• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Braille Institute provides education and training to visually impaired/blind individuals. Emphasis is on independent living skills. Other services include visual aid consultations, student store, counseling, youth program, library service and talking books. Day centers in Ventura, Santa Paula, Oxnard, Camarillo and Thousand Oaks. Independent Living Skills seminars for retirement homes, mobile home parks and other facilities are available upon request. Call for site locations at 805-983-3324.
