• DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Early Academic Outreach Program (EAO) is part of the University of California's effort to inform students about and academically prepare them for UC eligibility. The program begins working with students and their parents in the seventh grade and continues to provide assistance through the twelfth grade. Services include school-site workshops on UC application procedures, test preparation, college majors, career exploration, financial aid and scholarships; academic advising related to UC requirements and selection of college preparatory high school coursework; day trips to UCSB for campus tours, presentations and workshops; parent meetings and newsletters.
